The numbers left by the last decade of the gamer industry left Fortnite as one of the most prominent titles in the industry. This was crowned with the Star Wars event within the game, which generated a great impact and a before and after in the Epic Games franchise. This could take place again with Birds of Prey, the film that stars Harley Quinn, the famous villain of DC Comics that took a lot of popularity with the film Suicide Squad. This rumor began to take force with the interaction that had the official accounts on Twitter, where they were to see each other soon.
There is no doubt that Fortnite knows how to manage the market and guide its community of players. Every marketing strategy made for the Epic Games game usually falls well with favorable numbers. It seems that Birds of Prey will now be the franchise that will lead the new battle royale event, after what was the last Star Wars event. The film, starring Harley Quinn, a very popular character among the users of the title, probably has a great impact due to the impact that the character has. The launch of this event could occur in the next few days, since the release of the film is scheduled for February 7. In turn, the flirting between official Twitter accounts left a "see you soon, Harley", encouraging that the event is coming.
The arrival of Birds of Prey to Fortnite could be with a special game mode or a Harley Quinn skin for user avatars. It should be noted that the developer has already worked with thematic events of Avengers, Stranger Things and Star Wars, all a success for the franchise. It should be noted that the last one was dedicated to the movie Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. For this, a world event was held to present an unpublished scene one week after the expected premiere. Fans from around the world gathered inside the video game so that the director of the film, J.J. Abrams would welcome you and show you new material. Also in 2019, artist Marshmello performed a concert within the game and his audience record was surpassed only at the end of the year thanks to the huge Disney franchise.
With an official announcement on the game page, Epic Games revealed that Fortnite update 11.50 will arrive in early February. With it, the title will go on to use the Unreal Engine Chaos physics engine, which will bring major changes to the experience. The team responsible for the battle royale knows that they are about to take a very big step and that not everything will work great from the start. That is why the transition to the new engine will go slowly, with an initial testing phase focused on a small group of users. During that stage, and later also, you will hear opinions, criticisms and suggestions about the results you get with Chaos.
